Pure Candy Dressing Gown — Sequence #12
Pure Candy Sequence 12 warms the dark family field with copper-orange and red-gold ornament. Gold-brown columns organize a charcoal-brown ground, and a brighter copper-red vertical flourish takes the center. The gown lets that warm axis travel through the wrap front while the darker columns steady the surrounding surface.
The artwork on the gown
At the center is a bright copper-red vertical flourish surrounded by darker gold-brown columns. The palette combines dark charcoal-brown ground, copper-orange and red-gold ornament, olive edge details.
The gown form
The wrap-front gown has a dark shawl-style collar, long sleeves, waist tie and front pockets.
Living with the work
Sequence 12 is a strong warm-color collecting piece without becoming uniformly bright. Beside Sequence 11, it shows how the same family can move from midnight restraint into ember-like copper. River Jade Smithy treats this as original artwork by Travis Huffaker carried into a useful house layer for preparation, rest, return, and the quieter intervals around a day.
With gratitude for your presence in the work, may this piece serve as both useful form and a continuing encounter with the art.
