Pure Candy Dressing Gown — Sequence #14
Pure Candy Sequence 14 opens into silver gray and charcoal. Rounded pale cells frame a soft mirrored crest at the center, producing a larger, more spacious geometry than the micro-grids around it in the family. On the gown, the pale crest reads clearly against the darker trim without needing another color to carry it.
The artwork on the gown
At the center is a pale silver mirrored crest framed by larger rounded gray cells. The palette combines silver-gray and charcoal ground, rounded pale cell outlines, soft white-gray center.
The gown form
The wrap-front gown has a dark shawl-style collar, long sleeves, waist tie and front pockets.
Living with the work
Sequence 14 is a study in tonal contrast and shape. It belongs naturally beside Sequence 13 as a move from antique earth tones into cool silver structure. River Jade Smithy treats this as original artwork by Travis Huffaker carried into a useful house layer for preparation, rest, return, and the quieter intervals around a day.
With gratitude for your presence in the work, may this piece serve as both useful form and a continuing encounter with the art.
