Pure Candy Dressing Gown — Sequence #3
Pure Candy Sequence 3 sets a slender coral-jade-blue flourish inside a pale gray and ivory field of olive-and-amber cells. The narrow colored axis runs through the front and returns at the center back, while the smaller repeat travels across sleeves and lower body. It is a measured composition: fine pattern around a deliberately concentrated line of color.
The artwork on the gown
At the center is a slender coral-jade-blue vertical flourish framed by the smaller olive-amber cell grid. The palette combines pale gray and ivory ground, olive and amber repeating cells, muted coral, jade, and blue center accents.
The gown form
The wrap-front gown has a dark shawl-style collar, long sleeves, waist tie and front pockets.
Living with the work
The gown lets that vertical center remain legible through the wrap front. As a collection piece, Sequence 3 sits naturally beside darker Sequence 4: one opens the field, the other deepens it. River Jade Smithy treats this as original artwork by Travis Huffaker carried into a useful house layer for preparation, rest, return, and the quieter intervals around a day.
