“A Cloak of Rest, A Field of Living Warmth” is River Jade Smithy’s invitation to rest with the work. Samhain Dream Thaw 8 of 15 Octo ex Quindecim brings its particular printed field to this Hooded Snuggle Blanket.
Rows of pointed pale outlines and dark centres extend broadly across the spread. Several light horizontal breaks give the eighth work a measured sequence of bands.
Form and material

Care: Machine wash inside out in cold water (max 30°C / 90°F); drip dry; do not bleach; iron, steam, or dry only on low heat.
Living with the work
Drape the hood and shoulders for a reading or resting pause, and use the inner straps as you gather the front. Spread the back to see the arrangement before drawing the blanket around yourself.

Choosing the lining and gathering the blanket
Choose Microfiber Fleece or Sherpa lining; both accompany the same 100% polyester micro-mink printed outer. The choice changes the lining, not the artwork. The nominal 80 × 55 in (about 203 × 140 cm) dimensions describe the blanket, not a body size. It is a loose hooded wrap rather than a fitted coat; how far it hangs depends on how you gather it. The elastic inner straps sit around the hands while you hold the blanket close.
