Samhain Dream Thaw 3 of 15 Tres ex Quindecim — Picnic Blanket
Long pale loops give Samhain Dream Thaw 3 of 15 Tres ex Quindecim its spacious rhythm. The ornament stretches into repeated vertical shapes, a different encounter from the closely packed small motifs of the preceding work.
Rows of elongated, lace-like outlines meet across a narrow middle band. Darker fine-grain detail fills their interiors and the spaces around them, while pale edges make the larger repeats legible across the open blanket.
Form and material
- 100% polyester fleece front
- 100% black water-resistant oxford-cloth back
- one size: 61 × 51 in (155 × 129.5 cm)
- black carrying strap with buckles
- one-sided print
Care: Machine wash separately cold (max 30°C / 90°F), gentle cycle; do not bleach; tumble dry low; do not iron; do not dry clean.
Living with the work
Lay the third work out fully to enjoy the length of its motifs. Loosely folded across a lap, only part of that arrangement will show; the full view and the intimate fold offer different encounters with the same printed face.
Collecting the work
Samhain Dream Thaw 4 is a useful neighbouring work for comparison: both have long pale outlines, but their upper bands and the spacing around those forms differ. Choose by the composition you enjoy rather than by the shared blanket construction.
