Pure Candy Dressing Gown — Sequence #13
Pure Candy Sequence 13 keeps its palette earthy: muted brown, olive, antique gold, and a dark green center. A fine brown micro-grid carries a low-saturation green-copper panel through the middle, so the artwork feels built from small increments rather than broad color blocks. The robe form gives the grid enough area to become atmosphere.
The artwork on the gown
At the center is a low-saturation green-copper panel embedded in a brown micro-grid. The palette combines muted brown and olive ground, small antique-gold grid, dark green vertical center.
The gown form
The wrap-front gown has a dark shawl-style collar, long sleeves, waist tie and front pockets.
Living with the work
This is an understated Pure Candy choice for someone drawn to antique-gold and olive rather than high saturation. Its quiet center makes a useful collecting transition toward the silver geometry of Sequence 14. River Jade Smithy treats this as original artwork by Travis Huffaker carried into a useful house layer for preparation, rest, return, and the quieter intervals around a day.
With gratitude for your presence in the work, may this piece serve as both useful form and a continuing encounter with the art.
