Pure Candy 22 Green Violet Row Dressing Gown
Pure Candy 22 is built on horizontal force: bright leaf-green rows move across charcoal, broad royal-violet bands cut through them, and a centered ornamental lane holds the front together. The gown’s wrap panels make those crosswise bands especially visible as they meet at the overlap.

The gown form
The wrap-front gown has a dark shawl-style collar, long sleeves, waist tie and front pockets.
Living with the work
This is one of Pure Candy’s more assertive graphic pieces. It belongs beside the near-black Sequence 21 as a deliberate change from sparse marks to bold row-and-band structure. River Jade Smithy treats this as original artwork by Travis Huffaker carried into a useful house layer for preparation, rest, return, and the quieter intervals around a day.
With gratitude for your presence in the work, may this piece serve as both useful form and a continuing encounter with the art.
