Samhain Dream Thaw 2 of 15 Dressing Gown
Samhain Dream Thaw 2 brings cool gray, stone taupe and soft ivory into a densely patterned field. Fine mirrored filigree, narrow zigzags and tiny ovals give it a tighter rhythm than the more openly segmented first design.
A pale chain-like stripe crosses the upper front between the compact ornamental rows. On the back, the tiny ovals, zigzags and pale accents continue across the shoulders and lower body. The dark shawl collar, wrap edge and waist belt provide a simple frame for this intricate printed pattern.
A shawl collar, long sleeves, waist tie and front pockets give the print a generous architecture. At home, through the rituals of dressing and rest, or as a more theatrical outer layer when the moment invites it, the gown keeps the artwork visible across a broad wearable surface.
This gown belongs to the fifteen-part Samhain Dream Thaw sequence, where related jewelry-born forms change scale, banding and rhythm from one member to the next. The sequence lets one family of forms keep becoming something new across cloth.
