Samhain Dream Thaw 10 of 15 Decem ex Quindecim — Picnic Blanket
Samhain Dream Thaw 10 of 15 Decem ex Quindecim gives broad rows of ornament a clear place on the picnic blanket: rounded upper forms lead into longer pale-edged shapes below.
Brown and charcoal detail fills the interiors, with cream and taupe outlines marking the larger repeats. Fine narrow bands sit between the fuller rows, making a composition that can be followed a section at a time.
Cloth, print and size
Polyester fleece face with black water-resistant oxford-cloth backing. One-sided print. One size: 61 in length × 51 in width (155 cm × 129.5 cm). Black carrying strap with buckles.
Care: Machine wash separately in cold water, gentle cycle; tumble dry low; do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
Living with the work
For an afternoon outdoors, open the rectangle so that each broad row can be seen. At a seated gathering, choose a loose fold that shows the portion you enjoy; the separate buckled strap gathers the rolled blanket without covering the face during use.
Collecting the work
Place Samhain Dream Thaw 7 and 10 in conversation when choosing a patterned outing blanket. Number 7 extends the ornament vertically; number 10 gives the eye a succession of fuller horizontal rows.

Coverage and carrying
One size: 61 in length × 51 in width (155 cm × 129.5 cm). This backed picnic blanket presents the tenth work as one broad printed face. The changes between its rows belong to the artwork; they are not seams or separate material panels.
From the Atelier
Decem ex Quindecim travels with the tenth numbered work, while the Picnic Blanket keeps the original outing purpose close. River Jade Smithy’s artwork and the physical blanket’s production remain distinct contributions. Original artwork by River Jade Smith Travis “Doby” Huffaker, offered through River Jade Smithy.
