Samhain Dream Thaw 14 of 15 Quattuordecim ex Quindecim — Picnic Blanket
Outlined medallion-like repeats give Samhain Dream Thaw 14 of 15 Quattuordecim ex Quindecim a measured crosswise rhythm, with small bright details nestled in darker bands.
Taupe and cream outlines mark rounded and pointed shapes through the brown-and-charcoal field. Narrower ornamental strips separate the fuller rows, while a particularly clear row of curved outlines sits near the upper edge.
Cloth, print and size
Polyester fleece face with black water-resistant oxford-cloth backing. One-sided print. One size: 61 in length × 51 in width (155 cm × 129.5 cm). Black carrying strap with buckles.
Care: Machine wash separately in cold water, gentle cycle; tumble dry low; do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
Living with the work
Open the blanket so the outlined rows can be followed from one dark edge to the other. For carrying, roll the fleece face inward; the separate two-band strap gathers the bundle and leaves a short handle above it.
Collecting the work
Look from number 14 to Samhain Dream Thaw 13 for a quieter difference within a fine ornamental scale. The fourteenth emphasises outlined motif rows; the thirteenth gathers several pale lines into a more noticeable middle passage.

Coverage and carrying
One size: 61 in length × 51 in width (155 cm × 129.5 cm). This picnic rectangle gives the repeated motif rows room to continue across its width. Its dark edge follows the rounded corners, while the reverse stays plain black rather than repeating the artwork.
From the Atelier
