Samhain Dream Thaw 15 of 15 Quindecim ex Quindecim — Picnic Blanket
Pointed curves rise and fall through Samhain Dream Thaw 15 of 15 Quindecim ex Quindecim, bringing a sequence of wave-like ornamental bands to the picnic blanket’s face.
Cream and taupe outlines sit over finely patterned brown and charcoal interiors. Fuller bands of paired curves alternate with lighter, narrower passages; the repeated shapes change direction as the eye moves down the rectangle.
Cloth, print and size
Polyester fleece face with black water-resistant oxford-cloth backing. One-sided print. One size: 61 in length × 51 in width (155 cm × 129.5 cm). Black carrying strap with buckles.
Care: Machine wash separately in cold water, gentle cycle; tumble dry low; do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
Living with the work
Spread the blanket to see the full succession of curving bands. At a seated evening pause, fold it to keep one broad passage in view; the one-sided printed face and plain black reverse offer two distinct sides for handling.
Collecting the work
Compare Samhain Dream Thaw 15 with number 10. Both organise larger curves into horizontal rows, while the fifteenth makes their alternating pointed direction more prominent and the tenth opens with rounder upper ornaments.

Coverage and carrying
One size: 61 in length × 51 in width (155 cm × 129.5 cm). The fifteenth work reaches across the flat picnic surface without being divided into garment panels. The darker reverse and separate buckled carrier support the blanket’s outing form without adding another printed face.
From the Atelier
Quindecim ex Quindecim completes the numbered title of this fifteenth Samhain Dream Thaw work. Here it accompanies the original practical idea of a Picnic Blanket: an art-bearing surface to spread out, fold and carry.
