Samhain Dream Thaw 1 of 15 Unus ex Quindecim — Sherpa Fleece Blanket
The Warmth of Light, The Softness of Being. Samhain Dream Thaw 1 of 15 Unus ex Quindecim brings that River Jade Smithy invitation into a blanket of tiered brown-and-cream ornament, with a pale plush reverse to turn toward you.
Upright, pointed forms gather in rows between lighter curling bands. Spread flat, the printed face lets those tiers run from edge to edge; draped over a sofa, the same rows bend across the seat and fall toward the floor. Turning back a corner replaces the intricate print with the quiet, pale sherpa surface.
Form and material
- 100% polyester fleece, approximately 1/8 in (3 mm) thick
- RJS product sizes: 50 × 60 in and 60 × 80 in
- one-sided print
- velvety plush sherpa backside
- pre-constructed item; size variance may be ±3 in
- surface texture may vary with fulfillment source
Care: Cold machine wash with similar colors on gentle cycle; tumble dry low or hang dry; do not bleach or dry clean.
Use: For adult use.
Living with the work
Keep the first work across the back of a reading sofa with one pale corner turned out, or gather it over your lap when the room settles. The printed tiers offer a broad view when spread and a more intimate fragment when folded.
Collecting the work
For Samhain Dream Thaw 1, the Sherpa Fleece Blanket offers an unhooded, plush-backed resting layer. The Cream Hooded Sherpa version gathers the artwork around the shoulders, while the Picnic version supplies a separate, black-backed ground layer. Choose by the kind of pause you are preparing, rather than treating the three constructions as interchangeable.
Original artwork by River Jade Smith Travis “Doby” Huffaker, offered through River Jade Smithy. The blanket form is produced through Printify.
Choosing coverage
Choose 50 × 60 in for the more compact rectangle, or 60 × 80 in when you want 10 in more width and 20 in more length. Measure the chair, lap or resting space you want to cover rather than treating either option as a body size. These are nominal dimensions: the supplier allows a size variance of ±3 in on this pre-constructed blanket.
