Samhain Dream Thaw 4 of 15 Quattuor ex Quindecim — Sherpa Fleece Blanket
Broad pale arches give Samhain Dream Thaw 4 of 15 Quattuor ex Quindecim an unhurried rhythm. Across this Sherpa Fleece Blanket, their repeated curves alternate with darker, closely worked bands.
Cream arching forms run across the brown face in substantial tiers, with curling, oval-like detail filling the spaces between. The flat presentations make these alternations easiest to follow. On the sofa, a darker band can sit along the hanging edge while the pale arches continue over the back and seat.

Living with the work
Spread the fourth work across a sofa back to follow the wide arching rows, then turn out the pale reverse when you settle beneath it. A folded presentation makes the contrast between intricate face and plush backing especially clear.
