Samhain Dream Thaw 8 of 15 Octo ex Quindecim — Sherpa Fleece Blanket
Pale clustered shapes interrupt the brown scrolling field of Samhain Dream Thaw 8 of 15 Octo ex Quindecim. On this Sherpa Fleece Blanket, their light row gives way to paired curves and finer ornament below.
The full printed face alternates rows of small light shapes with fuller paired oval curves and darker arches. A narrow horizontal crossing separates sections without turning the work into isolated pictures. In the close folds, the pale plush reverse covers most of the surface and leaves a short, detailed margin of print.

Living with the work
Let the eighth work lie open when you want to follow the move from small pale shapes to fuller curves. At rest, turn back a corner so the contrast between patterned face and plush reverse remains part of the arrangement.
Collecting the work
Samhain Dream Thaw 8 appears on the Picnic Blanket with a dark enclosing edge and on the Cream Hooded Sherpa Blanket beneath a plain cream hood. This Sherpa version keeps the work on a freely folding, plush-backed rectangle. Its smaller light clusters and paired curves supply the visual connection; the three forms supply different handling.

Choosing coverage
