Dense magenta and teal-gray bands ripple across an upright charcoal-burgundy grid in this Rind #11 Tree Link scarf. Repeated cyan accents make the horizontal movement more prominent than in Wine-Magenta Column Grid with Cyan Thread.

The tightly repeated border continues that crossing rhythm. Around the neck, the banded grid gathers into short curved passages; the open tails reveal longer stretches of its pink and cool-gray ripples.

Form & size
Square formats for size comparison
Nominal size Side length in centimeters
36 × 36 inches 91.44 × 91.44 cm
50 × 50 inches 127 × 127 cm

These are dimensions of the square cloth, not body measurements. Compare the smaller format for less fabric to arrange and the larger for more area to open or layer. Check the fabric and size options shown when ordering; the pictures do not identify a selected size.

Fabric choices

Habotai Silk: lightweight 100% silk, printed with reactive inks and finished with a machine-rolled baby hem.

Charmeuse Silk: 100% silk in a 12-momme cloth, printed with reactive inks and finished with a machine-rolled baby hem.

Cotton Silk: 75% cotton and 25% silk, with a smooth matte surface and soft drape. This airy voile is printed with reactive inks and finished with a rolled edge.

Choose Habotai for a lightweight pure-silk option, Charmeuse for the 12-momme pure-silk cloth, or Cotton Silk for a matte cotton-and-silk blend. Fabric and square size are separate choices: compare the 36-inch and 50-inch formats within your selected fabric. Cotton Silk is not 100% silk. These fabric descriptions do not identify which option is pictured.

The artwork & a closer look

The square’s vertical central grid is crossed by dense horizontal magenta and teal-gray bands, with turquoise-cyan accents breaking the darker wine-charcoal field. A tightly repeated rectangular border holds the banded center. The front drape compresses the crossings, the tails expose longer horizontal and vertical sections, and the flat view reveals the rippled horizontal emphasis.

Folds & companionship

Compare a repeated teal-gray crossing on a hanging section with the magenta band next to it. Opening the square shows their horizontal cadence against the underlying vertical field; the cowl makes those intersections more concentrated.

Magenta-Teal Rippled Band Grid adds a crossing, banded accessory field above Pure Candy GNHV8.2.1 Purple Logo Glitter Yoga Shorts. The scarf’s pink and cool-gray lines ripple across a grid; the shorts’ violet-pink details remain inside rounded lime-edged figures on dark green-black. Compare repeated open crossings with larger enclosed forms, keeping the material and measurement choices independent.

Collecting comparison. Magenta-Teal Rippled Band Grid emphasizes its repeated horizontal crossings. Wine-Magenta Column Grid with Cyan Thread offers a quieter vertical order, with finer magenta grid lines and sparser cyan accents.

Collecting comparison. Magenta-Teal Rippled Band Grid keeps its structure horizontal and vertical. Diagonal Magenta-Cyan Lattice on Charcoal opens larger angled crossings over the mottled center. Compare repeated rippled bands with a two-color diagonal network.

Care for your selected fabric

Keep the care route with the fabric you choose. Match your order and the instructions supplied with your scarf; do not combine the different washing recipes below.

Silk Habotai

Art of Where’s Habotai scarf instructions specify cold hand or machine washing with ¼ cup vinegar and 2 teaspoons salt. For machine washing, use a full-water cycle rather than an eco cycle. Hang to dry or use the delicate dryer setting. Iron on the silk setting; do not bleach. Dry cleaning is also permitted.

Silk Charmeuse

For Charmeuse, the fabric-specific scarf instructions specify a cold machine wash with ¼ cup vinegar and 2 teaspoons salt, again using a full-water rather than an eco cycle. Hang to dry or machine dry on delicate; iron on the silk setting and do not bleach. Dry cleaning is permitted. This source does not separately specify hand washing.

Cotton Silk

For the first washes, hand wash in cold water or use a delicate machine cycle. Art of Where specifies ½ cup of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt. Wash separately for the first two to four washes, particularly with dark colors, and begin drying promptly rather than leaving the scarf wet or crumpled.

For later washes, use a mild, phosphate-free detergent and gentle hand washing or a delicate machine cycle. Air dry flat or hang to dry. Use low heat on the silk setting when ironing. The manufacturer notes that tumble drying can change the fabric’s feel.

This Cotton Silk guidance is translated from Art of Where’s finished-scarf care instructions (French), which expressly include Cotton Silk scarves and bandanas. Check the instructions supplied with your scarf; contact River Jade Smithy before washing if its label differs.

Origin Story

Magenta-Teal Rippled Band Grid carries the “Rind#11 Tree Link Blue Logo — RJSTH@Fabric#11” name. River Jade Smith Travis “Doby” Huffaker’s Living Silk Canvases invitation enjoys a crossing that does not stand entirely still: pink and cool gray ripple through the darker upright field.

In gratitude, for the warmth that circles without end, for the hands that craft and the eyes that see, for the quiet choice to wear beauty as a living agreement—may this Vitta Serica Artis hold you in the continuity of care, where every thread returns to worth.

“As always, this is the Green Worth Grail Smith offer to the Golden Entity Trusted Formula for Upworth. Long may the Sun Light Wealth our Worth.”

Choosing & asking

Select the artwork, fabric and size as separate choices. Check the displayed price, available options and order information before purchase. Choose the 36-inch square for less cloth to arrange or the 50-inch square for more area to spread and layer.

Keep the Product title, fabric and size with your order details. For a gift, keeping that material information with the scarf makes its later care easier.

The scarf is printed and made on demand with Art of Where in Montreal, Canada. Use the order page for current production and delivery information.

Preview & measurement

For an edge measurement, lay the scarf open without pulling it and measure along one side from a corner to the adjacent corner—not across the diagonal. A front-point preview is an arrangement of the square, not a measurement diagram.

The images show rendered scarf arrangements. A fold can hide part of the printed field or bring another color forward; the render alone does not identify the pictured fabric or prove a particular tying method. Use the full-square view to study the artwork and the selected fabric’s information to choose the material.

36-inch square (91.44 cm per side) and 50-inch square (127 cm per side), shown at one scale with edge-measurement arrows.
RJS explanatory diagram. Both formats are square cloth dimensions, not body-fit measurements. Slight cut-and-sew variations may occur.

River Jade Smithy's poetic welcome

The Art of Where Room for the Living

Come, fellow traveler, leave room in your day;
The Grail Smith has colour to set on its way.
A curve caught in copper, a gleam held in stone,
May travel in cloth without losing its home.

Remember the hands where the first marks began,
The long, patient looking no measure can span.
Let River Jade Smithy's clear signature stay
As the work finds new places to enter the day.

In Montréal, lengths of printed cloth lie
Like gardens unrolled beneath somebody's eye.
The cutter attends to the shape they will take;
The needle draws near, and the quiet seams wake.

Here is the art of a where still to come:
A scarf at a doorway, the street's waking hum;
A skirt in the turning of music and feet;
A flash of a story where strangers may meet.

Carry the image; let weather and hour
Change how you notice its branch and its flower.
An angle of silver, a fold touched by sun—
The looking continues when making is done.

And when someone asks what the colours might mean,
Give room to the creature their own eyes have seen.
Tell where it started; then listen awhile:
The tale may grow wider in somebody's smile.

Let Green Worth take root in the things that we do:
Make room for repair; let care carry us through.
Learn what the cloth needs. Let the old keep a place
Beside what is new in the life we embrace.

The Earth is our hearth, with its rain at the sill,
Its roots in the dark and its birds on the hill.
May the wealth that we gather leave others their share—
Clean water, a refuge, a future to bear.

So bring to this fellowship something of you:
A name for a wonder, a kindness made true.
Let Loved be the welcome we practise and give,
With room for another, and room still to live.

The road leaves the workshop; the door opens wide.
Take story and colour out into the tide
Of mornings and meetings, of lives everywhere—
And help make a world that has room for us there.
