Samhain Dream Thaw 12 of 15 Duodecim ex quindecim — Arctic Fleece Blanket
“Artistic Warmth” is River Jade Smithy’s invitation to rest with the work. Samhain Dream Thaw 12 of 15 Duodecim ex quindecim brings its particular printed field to this Arctic Fleece Blanket.
Pointed pale bands recur between dense brown curls. A close folded section enlarges their light crossings and the darker intervals between them.
Form and material
- 100% polyester fleece, 315 gsm
- RJS product sizes: 30 × 40, 50 × 60, and 60 × 80 in
- approximately 0.1 in (0.2 cm) thick
- one-sided print
- seam thread matched to the design
Care: Machine wash separately cold (max 30°C / 90°F), gentle cycle; do not bleach; tumble dry low; do not iron; do not dry clean.
Use: For adult use.
Living with the work
Use a broad spread to show the field, or fold the blanket over a chair when a smaller portion of the print suits the room. For adult use.
Collecting the work
Samhain Dream Thaw 12 also travels into the Picnic Blanket and Cream Hooded Sherpa Fleece Blanket. Compare an unhooded fleece room or travel layer with a portable ground or lap layer and a cream-hooded shoulder wrap; the artwork is encountered through different finished forms.
Original artwork by River Jade Smith Travis “Doby” Huffaker, offered through River Jade Smithy. The blanket form is supplied through Printify.
Choosing coverage
The three finished blanket sizes are 30 × 40, 50 × 60 and 60 × 80 in. Compare these rectangles with the chair, lap or resting space you want to cover rather than with body-size labels. All three sizes have one printed face; choosing a size does not select a different artwork. This blanket form is for adult use.
From the Atelier
River Jade Smithy’s original invitation, “Artistic Warmth,” belongs to the story of this blanket form. Samhain Dream Thaw 12 of 15 Duodecim ex quindecim gives that invitation its own printed presence.
The Grail Smith and Green Worth are part of the original River Jade Smithy invitation; here, attentive choice and everyday care keep the artwork in use.
