Samhain Dream Thaw 2 of 15 Duo ex Quindecim — Sherpa Fleece Blanket
A quiet room can hold a richly worked surface. Samhain Dream Thaw 2 of 15 Duo ex Quindecim fills this Sherpa Fleece Blanket with close-set ornament and pale horizontal breaks, inviting a longer look between moments of rest.
Pointed repeats and rounded, medallion-like forms pack the brown and taupe field. A narrow cream crossing gives the eye a route through the finer detail. The flat views reveal its placement across the whole rectangle; on the sofa, folds soften that straight line into a change of direction.
Form and material

Living with the work
Lay the second work over a plain chair or sofa to give its small repeats room to register. Fold it after reading with the pale reverse outward, leaving just a band of print visible at the edge.
Collecting the work
Samhain Dream Thaw 2 can move through three distinct household roles: this unhooded Sherpa layer for the lap or sofa, the Cream Hooded Sherpa wrap for the shoulders, and the black-backed Picnic Blanket for an outing surface. Their shared authored work does not make their backs, dimensions or handling the same.
Original artwork by River Jade Smith Travis “Doby” Huffaker, offered through River Jade Smithy. The blanket form is produced through Printify.
Choosing coverage
Choose 50 × 60 in for the more compact rectangle, or 60 × 80 in when you want 10 in more width and 20 in more length. Measure the chair, lap or resting space you want to cover rather than treating either option as a body size. These are nominal dimensions: the supplier allows a size variance of ±3 in on this pre-constructed blanket.
From the Atelier
“The Warmth of Light, The Softness of Being” belongs to River Jade Smithy’s original offer for Stragulum Villosum Sherpae. Samhain Dream Thaw 2 of 15 Duo ex Quindecim carries that invitation through compact ornament with pale cross-bands.
