Samhain Dream Thaw 5 of 15 Quinque ex Quindecim — Two-Sided Velveteen Microfiber Blanket
“Where Artistry Meets Comfort” is River Jade Smithy’s invitation to rest with the work. Samhain Dream Thaw 5 of 15 Quinque ex Quindecim brings its particular printed field to this Two-Sided Velveteen Minky Blanket.
Enlarged rounded medallion-like forms and pale curls make one close-patterned arrangement. The other repeats compact rows around a pale crossing, offering a finer view of the work.
Form and material
- 100% polyester
- three product sizes: 40 × 30, 60 × 50, and 80 × 60 in
- two-sided print
- 2 in stitched edge
- fine white fabric strands may be partly visible beneath the print surface
Care: Machine wash cold (max 30°C / 90°F), gentle cycle; hand washing may extend product quality; do not bleach; tumble dry low; do not iron; do not dry clean.
Living with the work
Choose which printed arrangement faces outward, then spread or fold the blanket to change the scale of the view. The enlarged and finer arrangements offer two ways to keep the work present in a room.
Collecting the work
Samhain Dream Thaw 5 also travels into the Picnic Blanket and Cream Hooded Sherpa Fleece Blanket. Compare a reversible, two-printed-face room layer with a portable ground or lap layer and a cream-hooded shoulder wrap; the artwork is encountered through different finished forms.
Original artwork by River Jade Smith Travis “Doby” Huffaker, offered through River Jade Smithy. The blanket form is supplied through Printify.
Choosing coverage and a printed face
The three finished blanket sizes are 40 × 30, 60 × 50 and 80 × 60 in. Compare the supplied rectangles before choosing; the two printed arrangements are faces of the blanket, not separate colour-menu options.
From the Atelier
River Jade Smithy’s original invitation, “Where Artistry Meets Comfort,” belongs to the story of this blanket form. Samhain Dream Thaw 5 of 15 Quinque ex Quindecim gives that invitation its own printed presence.
